Behind The Scenes at Our Studio – Spring Edition!

Sho Art, Spirit and Performance is so much more than your run-of-the-mill gallery. Our space is vibrant with collaboration, creation, and unique projects that keep us ultra busy. We welcome artists to use our space for so much more than just showing their art. We are a studio/gallery and pride ourselves on incubating awesome projects and talent that comes through Sho.

This winter was long. VERY LONG. However, that didn’t stop us from developing some really cool work that we would love to share now that spring has finally, and officially SPRUNG!

Here are just of many awesome projects that have taken place at Sho over the past few months:

SKIN | Windsor’s Alternative Arts and Culture Show’s First SKIN Collaboration

This upcoming June, Sho is a very proud featured sponsor of SKIN | Windsor’s Alternative Arts and Culture Show. Sho Artist Christy Litster, along with her husband and Sho Associate Darryl Litster, have created a jam packed event this year in their effort to foster networking, collaboration, and growth of WIndsor’s Arts Community. In doing so they have brought an interesting new opportunity to local artists through their ongoing series of SKIN Collaborations.

The first of these took place at Sho Art, Spirit and Performance in March. This first collaboration featured a group of passionate participants who came together to create a series of photos and a promotion video for SKIN. This shoot featured models Ashley Steele, Greis Dragoti, and Holly De Joseph; photographer Nadya Ekler of Mirrored Muse Imagery; Art Director Christy Litster of Sho Art, Spirit and Performance; Videographer Reginald Tiessen of hawkhaus media; Light Designer Adam Marz of Marz Media; Hair Stylists Stephanie Morris of Salon B and Jeffery Wood Owner of T’ Dye For Salon; Makeup Artist Kelly Spinarsky of KESmakeup; and Fashions by Dee-Dee Shkreli of Dilly Daisy.
