Woman Life Freedom is the revolutionary chant of the women of Iran. This slogan has become the symbol of feminist solidarity across the world. Denied the ability to speak on behalf of their basic human rights Woman Life Freedom is the first female-led revolution with the women of Iran asking the world to be their voice.
The Woman Life Freedom Exhibition, curated by Maryam Safarzadeh in partnership with AWE (Art Windsor-Essex, Sho Art Studios and WFT (Windsor Feminist Theatre) will feature artists from Iran, Germany, Netherlands, Michigan, Vancouver, Toronto and Windsor.
